ABOUT SHANA GIEGER, MSN, APRN FNP-BC

Shana Diane Gieger serves as a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner at our Women's Health Clinic, specializing in women's health and aesthetics. Her professional journey in nursing commenced at South Georgia College where she earned an Associate of Science in Nursing in 2006. She gained invaluable experience working in the Emergency Department and Operating Room, with a keen focus on Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Aiming to further her expertise, Shana graduated from South University, Savannah, in 2022 with a Master of Science in Nursing. To further enhance her skills, she pursued and obtained certifications in Botox and filler treatments from the Injectable Institute of Atlanta, along with an advanced aesthetic laser training certificate from the Southern Laser Academy.

Currently, Shana offers her services to patients at our Douglas and Ocilla locations, combining her professional expertise and personal interests to make a significant impact in women's health and aesthetics. Her passion for these fields allows her to play a key role in bolstering her patients' confidence and overall well-being.

As an active member of professional associations such as the American Nurses Association (ANA), the Georgia Nurses Association (GNA), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Shana contributes to the nursing community by sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience.

Moreover, Shana strongly believes in the power of education. She takes pride in mentoring nursing students and educating her patients about their bodies and health concerns, underscoring her commitment to promoting better health outcomes through education and empowerment.
